What does one do, should TV evangelist Pat Robertson get too close to you: DUCK !!!

According to the "Freedom Writer Press" July/August issue, Robertson's outlandish proclamation from the July 8, 1997 TV-Broadcast of the "700 Club" (Pat Robertson, a former Republican candidate for President of the United States) took advantage of the July 4th, 1997 landing of the Mars 'Pathfinder Mission,' to assert his views regarding the "stoning to death" of what we would otherwise refer to as, 'UFO Enthusiasts,' on his show of July 8th, by comparing UFOs and their possible occupants as being, " . . . at best, lifeless nothings," and, " . . . if they are intelligent, they're demonic."

Whoa! Lets define a few words here to begin with, before we start

DUCKING:

1. "enthusiasts":

a. One given to or moved by enthusiasm; an ardent adherent; zealot.

b. A religious fanatic.

2. "stoning": *** Not listed within my huge copy of "The Reader's Digest Great Encyclopedic Dictionary." The Bible clearly states that a "stoning," was when a group, or many villagers would get together by orders from a Priest and throw stones at a "transgressor," until that person was dead. And so, it was done, back in the "Bible-days."

Pat Robertson is a man worth well over 130 million dollars who heads and created the "Christian Coalition," a group dedicated in becoming the MOST POWERFUL POLITICAL FORCE in America, who ran, unsuccessfully for President of the U.S. against George Bush, who incorrectly interrupts the Bible to his own liking, a man who advocates the further teachings in the Holy Bible, that, "a man can not serve two Masters," although he did do just that by simply running for President (as Rev. Jesse Jackson also did); a man who proclaims on previous Broadcasts of his TV-Show, that, "the 'old laws' were done away with when Jesus was born, and then crucified." Wait a minute, Mr. Robertson!

Just a limited, factual background of who this man Pat Robertson is, who is going to disobey Jesus and, "cast the first stone . . ."

Of course, I will be the first to admit to not being a "perfect human being." Although, it does not take a 'perfect human being' to realize that there are some mighty scary people out there with millions of dollars, their own Worldwide TV shows and a Political Force behind them, to be reckoned with.

Robertson goes on to state that, "Can a demon appear as a slanty-eyed, funny-looking creature? Of course he can, or 'it' can." But wait a minute--didn't he state earlier in this Broadcast, that, " . . . these things, at best, are lifeless nothings?"

So, which is it? "Lifeless nothings," or, "slanty-eyed demons?"

Pat Robertson will not tell you that the Holy Bible mentions "other worlds," twice in the Old Testament, and twice in the New Testament--but I can. And you can find those words yourself, if you would but search . . .

The "Word of God" is often mixed-in with the "Will of God," apparently, to suit the evangelists' whims at any given moment of news-worthiness. 'What a shame.  Therefore, what do you consider yourself as being? A UFO enthusiast who "worships" Aliens from another world--which, perhaps, most of us have not even seen? Forget about the UFOs. They are just machines. You don't "worship" machines--now do you?

As I have stated publicly and herein on this Website: I do not place limitations upon the creative powers of God Almighty--to just this one small planet--out of hundreds of millions of galaxies, each containing--BILLIONS OF STARS.

Please don't pull the, "Judge not, lest ye also be judged," statement of Jesus in terms of this article: We have to make certain judgments in our everyday lives, such as: Who do we believe is telling us the truth here? Is this really an honorable Baby-sitter we are about to hire? Can I trust this stranger to be alone with my family? Is this 'TV Preacher' really telling me the truth about the Bible and "stoning" people to death? Isn't it against the law to kill someone--with a "stone?"

What a cruel way to object to the Polls which reflect that there are 80% more people who believe in the "existence of Aliens" from another world than those who believe in established religions? I didn't make-up the figures folks: CNN/Time-Warner did.

As I have also stated within this Website: I believe in God--in love--and those things which are worthy of me believing in. For me to "believe in" Aliens from another world--well, they would have to offer me something in return for my belief, like a peaceful solution to war. Yeah. That'd be a great start.

Therefore, if you choose to believe in what Rev. Pat Robertson stated in a public forum as a 'threat' to kill-off those who may understand, realize and to some who may believe in--UFOs: then you must, thereby, also believe in murder.

What would Jesus say about Pat Robertson?

"I leave you with one last commandment: that you should love one another."

Amen.

Peace in numbers--Jason
